1015 Consulting is a brand new initiative founded in 2025 by Chris Li as a companion organization to SparkPlug Agility. While SparkPlug Agility is founded on agile training and education, 1015 is all about people. We hope to connect with the larger business and technology community to support today's challenges - and bring a healthy dose of human connection back to the workplace.
The combination of the numbers 1, 0, 1, and 5 symbolize growth, transformation and change - which is exactly what we strive to bring to every interaction. While our roots remain in agility, we look to bring a holistic and people-centered approach to everything that we do. Our background in training and consulting allows us to connect with a wide range of industries, and specifically the IT services area in the D.C. / Maryland / Virginia area. With delivery experience in both commercial and federal environments, our stories resonate with a wide audience.
We are fortunate to have "grown up" in this space with the executives of today. Our friends and co-workers have become the leaders of today and have gone on to create, grow, and lead some of the most impactful organizations in the beltway area. We are proud to consider them our friends and are grateful to have been a part of their journey, as we hope to also be a part of yours.
Our Founder Chris Li comes from the technical trenches - Originally a Microsoft developer and database engineer, his close work with the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security give him a unique perspective into organizational change, technical delivery, and demonstrating the effectiveness of agile practices.
More than just an instructor, Chris uses his experience and expertise to partner with organizational leaders in the application of lean and agile practices that have a meaningful impact on not just how an organization delivers work, but how they think about the system and the real people that create it. As a professional coach, he uses the same human-centered approach to help clients find their best path forward.
He frequently speaks at major agile, learning, and coaching conferences and supports initiatives of the world’s leading professional organizations. In his spare time, Chris enjoys a wide range of interests. He's an auto enthusiast, music lover, trumpet player, a closet foodie, a poker player, and a sports fan.
